This is the second installment show of the artist residency program at CoRK! Casey James was born in California, received his BFA from University of Nevada, Reno and his MFA from Parsons The New School for Design. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He has most recently participated in a show entitled “SKULL” at the CSN Fine Arts Gallery in Las Vegas, as well as the 2013 Armory. CoRK is very excited to have Casey with us, make sure to mark the date on your calendar to come see the fruits of his labor!

Casey’s work thematically is inspired by his immediate surroundings and breaking them down to their most minimal components. His wide range of mediums include painting, printmaking and carpentry. The show opens Friday, March 29th at CoRK and is curated by Aaron Levi Garvey of Levi Marx Contemporary.
